Fashions this fall are downright
pretty. We're talking throwbacks to our grandparents' time that's
updated so the classic feminine style is transformed into a modern must-have.
Pretty bows this season can be found everywhere from t-shirts, to
jackets, to sweaters. Big bows can make a big statement, so
incorporate them into your wardrobe when you want to pair the pretty bow with
something edgy. This
style is so great because it is very versatile, and it adds that
finishing touch making your outfit look polished and taking it from
something that 'works' to something that makes people ask where you got it.
It is hard to make a shirt that is
both casual and something that people have to notice (and love).
Petro Zillia does it with an amazingly creative take on this
style, taking a quiet rose-colored cotton T-shirt, and tying it up with
a decadent rose-brown colored silk bow. The deep-cut neckline
combined with the conservative evocation of the bow is a perfect
balance, and makes the shirt decent enough for a family dinner, and
intriguing enough for a casual first date. The colors are beautiful, and
perfect for fall. Wear this with jeans and some dressed-up shoes.
Nanette Lapore's Trimmed Corset Camel
Coat is the most beautiful and flattering coat we've seen this
season. It's medium weight, long length, and removable fur collar make
it a perfect fall-into-winter coat. Let's start with the gorgeous fabric combination
of wool, fur, and velvet all in different shades of brown: to die
for. The
scalloped cumberbund is thinning and adds to the classic
elegance of the coat. The velvet bow is really what brings this coat
together, and makes it an outfit all on its own. Although we recommend
wearing something underneath it, the coat speaks for itself so it
doesn't much matter what you choose as an under layer so long as your
velvet bow is tied up.
Tibi's
Fur Cardigan takes the pretty
bow in another direction these cardigans take feminine and make it
funky. The pretty bow and ¾ length sleeves say 'feminine
sweetheart' while the fur collar and the fuchsia color say 'I belong in
stilettos.' The result? A cardigan that will jazz up any evening. Accent
this top with pearl earrings, and wear it with a sleeveless dress.
Attach the removable collar to get you home on those cold fall nights.
