Fall Denim

(section 7 of 7)

There's a lot that goes into looking good in a pair of jeans, but once you find that pair that works, you never take them off. The details in the denim you choose will set you apart. Since most women spend a good percentage of their time in jeans, it's worth it to find a pair that screams 'you,' and the variety of styles is endless. We've  chosen a few killer pairs for fall that showcase three different trends for this season's denim.

The Farrah Jean from Joe's Jeans is what we call hot, a swinging tribute to the 1970's. The best part of these jeans is the white embroidery, evoking Jordache jeans and the old western styles. The stitching on Joe's design is stark against the dark wash, and the wiskering along the front pockets add a little subtle style.

If the 70's weren't quite your thing, maybe the 80's suit you better?  Hudson Jeans capitalizes on another hot trend this fall: the torn-up-yet-put-together look, how do they do it? Everyone from the runways to the Hollywood stars agree that this style is new again, made so in part by the surprising peek-a-boo of unexpected skin high on the thigh. These Hudson Jeans would look great with a tee from Three Dots or Xukuma or unexpectedly prepped up with a little Le Tigre.

Frankie B's Butterfly Jeans take a cut we've seen before and seriously spice it up. These jeans set you apart with a nod to the patch-wearing days of the 70's; the butterfly's are embroidered in silver and gold on each back pocket. This look is cute but saucy: attention is overtly drawn to the rear, but the image is an innocent butterfly, but then again the medium is a club-worthy metallic thread. Face it, these blue jeans are the outfit. . . you can wear these hot little numbers with the plainest of white tees.
